Unboxing the KinkKit: Tips and TricksJanuary 15, 2018
(1) OPEN THE BOX:
You can remove the ribbon by pulling the small bow out first, which should slide out easily. From there, the ribbon should fall off. At the front of the box, there is a magnetic flap which lifts open easily by pulling from the bottom. Don't throw this box out, please! Many subscription boxes have issues with sustainability and eco-friendly packaging, so we wanted to give you a box that is discreet (obviously), lasts, and is pretty enough to use as storage for your new items and cards!
(2) OPEN THE LETTER:
Once you’ve opened the box, make sure to open the wax-sealed letter — we’ve left a note in there *just* for you! This note also contains an important bit.ly link with additional information about each activity and downloadable resources, so you can get even more out of your KinkKit!
(3) OPEN THE ACTIVITY CARDS:
Remove the ribbon from the activity cards and check them out! We have arranged them in alphabetical order, but you can try them out in any order you like!
We’ve included a range of Arousal activities, from calming massages, to sexy games and role plays. Make a plan for how you will approach these. Do you feel more comfortable starting with something very sexy? Or will you prefer to ease slowly into the sexier activities?
(4) HOW TO READ THE CARDS:
The cards are broken into three sections:
SETUP: Before you start a particular activity, make sure you have all the items ready to go! Some activities require a particular space or additional props.
INSTRUCTIONS: Start following the instructions once you have all setup complete. These are pretty straightforward, with optional tips.
KINK IT UP: We want you and your lover to be able to enjoy these activities more than once, so we have created alternate options to try after you have finished the activity once!
(5) NOTE THE AFTERCARE ACTIVITY:
While we absolutely love all of the activities in our Kit and hope you take advantage of any moment to be physically intimate, we realize that it is unrealistic to have sex every day, or even every week (LDR/work/school/internship/children/moving/stress/sickness/LIFE, anyone?). This is where Intimacy Maintenance comes in.
Intimacy Maintenance during non-sexual times is often more important to a relationship than the time spent in the bedroom. We call this the “Aftercare” activity, and a variation of this practice is included in every single one of our Kits. We strongly suggest you practice Aftercare after every other activity in this box, as it is so easy to fall into routine and lose intimacy outside of the bedroom. We hope you enjoy this activity, and make Aftercare a routine in your relationship.
(6) OPEN THE REST OF THE BOX AND ENJOY!
Don’t forget to check out the additional bit.ly link that came with your Welcome Letter! We have additional downloadable resources and informational articles about each of the Activities in your box!
